Just typing in that headline was crazy. Yeah, my debut album drops in 12 days. And promotion is part of the deal if you want to alert potential listeners. The tour? Well, it's not a nationwide thing. But I'm getting around the Peoria area.
First up was a TV spot on the twin stations WMBD (31) and WYZZ (43), which aired March 29, with a bonus song played on March 31. They're all on this link: CI Proud Concert Series | Kirk Wessler | CIProud.com (centralillinoisproud.com).
Then there was an appearance with Kelly and Kindall on their online show, "What's Up Peoria!" Here's the link: CI Proud Concert Series | Kirk Wessler | CIProud.com (centralillinoisproud.com).
Then next week, I'll be on WMBD-AM (1470) radio with Greg & Dan. That will be at 8:40 a.m. on April 16. I was on that show a lot in my old life, with a weekly segment called "Two Up & Two Down." It'll be fun to go back and share some music this time.
If you're just catching this for the first time, my album "Homestyle Acoustic by Kirk Wessler" drops on all streaming platforms April 20. We're having a release party that day - free and family friendly - from 1-4 p.m. at the Third Chance Bar and Lounge, 3300 W. Willow Knolls Drive in Peoria. Food and drink available and, of course, live music starting at 2. The album will be available for purchase in CD form, along with other merch.
Hope to see you there!
